San Ramon Carbon Neutral Tree Planting
Over 2,500 trees were planted Sunday morning, July 10th at the San Ramón Carbon Neutral inaugural event. Several hundred volunteers attended to learn more about the San Ramón Carbon Neutral initiative and to help plant trees. Also present were representatives from various government, business and community organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality, the Diputado, the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganaderia, UCR, Jorcel Ferreterias, ICE, SuperPro Bikes, Florex Biodegradable Cleaning Products, the Fuerza Publica, Bomberos, Cruz Roja, the Community Action Alliance and members of local and national media. In addition to the presentation on the San Ramón Carbon Neutral initiative there were many educational booths and displays. Following are some photos from the event: |
