Give the Gift of Education to Children in Poverty

Summary
Children from poverty-stricken families need school supplies, uniforms, and shoes in order to attend public school in Costa Rica. This project will increase the funding available to our volunteer program, which is in its third year of helping poor families in San Ramon, and expand the number of children receiving assistance from 13 to 60 (40 in grade school and 20 in high school). The photo is of the 2015 "class" of recipients. |

Do you have an under used or an instrument collecting dust or know where one is in Costa Rica or the States? If so ------ We can get that instrument into the hands of a budding young musician through our affiliation with SINEM and the Need foundation name. So if you have a functional (it doesn't have to be pretty) instrument please click this link and complete the instrument donation request form. US residents are able to claim a tax deduction through the "Friends of San Ramon", a U.S. not for profit organization supporting the efforts of CAA and the San Ramon area.
