Spanish Conversation Groups
We have partnered with a highly recommended instructor who currently gives private lessons to some CAA members. Chelsea Rodríguez brings a great deal of experience helping English speakers learn Spanish and we encourage anyone to join these conversation groups to practice valuable communication skills, improve pronunciation and learn common phrases in Costa Rica.
There are two levels:
Beginner Level—These students are “newbies” to the Spanish language. They will learn present tenses, pronouns, “be” verbs, and basic vocabulary for grocery shopping, vet care, et cetera.
Intermediate Level—Students in this group have had lessons for at least a year and are conversant in present, past, and future tenses.
The groups meet in person on Tuesdays for 1.5 hours at the library in San Ramon. Intermediate Level meets at 11am and Beginner Level meets at 12:30pm. The minimum group size is four people and students may rejoin either group as many times as they desire.
Cost is 18,000 colones per session. This is only 3,000 colones per class, per person (approx $5) so don't hesitate to take advantage of this special rate for CAA !!
Dates and times are announced in our newsletter and on our Facebook page (Community Action Alliance of Costa Rica). E-mail [email protected] to sign up for the beginner or intermediate level or to get more information.
