Spanish Conversation Groups

These eight-week sessions are offered five times a year and are taught by a native Spanish speaker. The cost is 15,000 colones for each session. Classes are held at the San Ramón Public library. Each sessions run for approximately 1.5 hours.

Classes are limited to eight students, who choose one of three levels:

Level I--Survival Spanish is for those who are total “newbies” to the Spanish language. Students learn present tenses, pronouns, “be” verbs, and basic vocabulary for grocery shopping, vet care, etc.

Level II--High-Beginner Spanish is for students who know some present tense verbs and basic vocabulary but who have not yet ventured into the deeper waters of past or future tenses.

Level III--Low Intermediate Spanish is for students who have had formal lessons for at least a year and are conversant in present, past, and future tenses.

Click here to register for classes. Alternately, you may email Susan Knab at nurese@aol.com and let her know which level you would like. Once you begin classes, you may move to a higher or lower level if you discover you need something different (provided the class you want is not full). You may repeat a level as many times as you like.

Fees are collected at Cafe Delicias between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays prior to the start of each session. You must pay in advance to hold your space. Please try to have exact change!

Proceeds from these classes benefit the San Ramón Public Library and the CAA Education Scholarship Program.
