Spanish Conversation Groups—General Information

This group currently meets IN-PERSON and on ZOOM.

Participants in our IN-PERSON course practice conversational Spanish in a small group to learn useful phrases for everyday situations. This group meets Thursday mornings for one and a half hours at a central location in San Ramón.
.
ZOOM GROUPS are held on Tuesday afternoons from 3-4PM. These classes are taught in three levels:

Level I—These students are total “newbies” to the Spanish language. Basically you will learn present tenses, pronouns, “be” verbs, and basic vocabulary for grocery shopping, vet care, etc.  IF you have taken this level before but feel you might want/need to repeat it, don’t worry, that is fine.

Level II—These students need to know some present tense verbs and some basic vocabulary, but they will not have yet ventured into the deeper waters of past or future.

Level III—Students in this higher-level group need to have had lessons for at least a year and be conversant in present, past, and future tenses.

Both groups run for six weeks and cost 12,000 colones each.
